Mark your calendars and dust off your clubs for the very first Lost Balls Golf Tournament benefiting the Lemhi County Humane Society, coming to the Salmon Valley Golf Course on Friday, July 24!
The Lost Balls Golf Tournament is a fun-first, beginner-friendly 9-hole scramble where a great attitude is far more important than a great golf swing. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or someone who only swings their clubs once a year, you’ll fit right in.
Teams of four will take to the course for an afternoon of friendly competition, laughs, and a few surprises along the way. While the tournament follows a standard scramble format, we’ve got a few secret “trick holes” planned to keep players on their toes. We’re keeping the details under wraps until tournament day, but trust us: perfection is not required.

Date: Friday, July 24
Location: Salmon Valley Golf Course
Format: 9-Hole, 4-Person Scramble
Check-In & Final Registration: 12:15 PM
Shotgun Start: 1:00 PM
Awards & Raffles: Right after the tournament wraps up around 5:00 PM
Cost: $35 per player (pay at the event)
The tournament is limited to just 18 teams (72 players total), so we encourage teams to register early.
New Golfers Welcome
Never played in a tournament before? No problem.
This event is designed to be accessible and fun for golfers of all experience levels. If you’re new to golf, we encourage you to join a team with a few experienced players, come ready to learn, and enjoy the afternoon. Rental clubs are available through the golf course if you don’t have your own.

Every Swing Helps Shelter Animals
Proceeds from the Lost Balls Golf Tournament support the animals in the care of the Lemhi County Humane Society. Funds raised help provide food, shelter, medical care, vaccinations, spay and neuter services, and adoption support for local pets in need.
So gather your friends, come up with a team name, and prepare for an afternoon of golf that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
