Join a community of animal lovers who believe every pet deserves safety, dignity, and love. As a Friend of the Shelter, your support helps us care for animals in need whether it’s an abandoned kitten, a lost dog, or an aging pet whose owner can no longer care for them. Your support means they’ll be met with open arms and a soft place to land.
When you become a Friend of the Shelter, you’ll receive a sticker, insider updates, and invitations to Friends-only events celebrating the animals and people who make this work possible.
Lemhi County Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations are tax-deductible.

Wednesday – Monday 11 am – 5 pm
Closed Tuesdays
Rags & Wags Thrift Store Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8 am – 6 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 6 pm

Sevy is still here at the shelter patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she is. This beautiful Lab/Husky mix has a stunning dark coat and the most unique frosted tail that makes her truly one of a kind. But as gorgeous as she is on the outside, her sweet, happy personality is what really steals hearts.
Sevy is a young, smart girl full of playful energy who absolutely loves being around her people. She’s always ready for an adventure, whether that’s exploring the trails, running in the yard, or simply hanging out by your side. She’s been working on her manners and learning recall, and she’s doing great. With a little continued training and patience, this eager-to-learn pup is going to make an amazing companion.
