Lemhi County Humane Society owns & operates the Salmon Animal Shelter and Rags & Wags Thrift Store.
SAS provides high-quality sheltering services for the homeless pets of Lemhi County.
We also provide funds for public spay and neuter programs in an attempt to decrease the number of dogs and cats entering our shelter. We serve as a line of defense against animal abuse & neglect, working closely with law enforcement officials, to ensure that all animals in Lemhi County are treated in a kind and humane manner.
Animal Shelter Hours:
11:00am – 5:00pm
7 Days a Week
Rags & Wags Thrift Store Hours:
8:00am – 4:00pm M-F
10:00 – 2:00pm on Saturday
Don't always finish your fruits and veggies? Feel bad when you have to toss them? Fret not as we have the solution for you! These precious guinea pigs would love to devour your unwanted fruits and veggies! All three of these males are ready for their forever homes and can go separately or together!

We need help Emptying the Shelter of our fantastic dogs! We've had a great number of cat and kitten adoptions and would love to see the same for our dogs!
