Lemhi County Humane Society – Salmon, Idaho
The Lemhi County Humane Society (LCHS) is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our organization in promoting animal welfare and serving our community. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, daily operations, fundraising, and staff supervision.
Salary: $55,000 per year or commensurate with experience

Top Priorities:
- Fundraising: Develop and implement strategies to secure funding through grants, donations, events, and community partnerships.
- Supervision: Manage staff and volunteers, ensuring a positive and productive workplace aligned with LCHS’s mission.
- Administration: Oversee day-to-day operations, including financial management, facilities, compliance, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective operations, budgeting, and compliance with all regulations.
- Cultivate donor relationships and lead fundraising initiatives.
- Lead hiring, training, supervision, and development of staff and volunteers.
- Serve as the public face of LCHS, building community relationships and promoting the organization’s mission.
Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in nonprofits or similar fields.
- Strong background in fundraising and financial management.
- Effective communicator and team leader.
- Passion for animal welfare and community engagement.
