From the Executive Director
Hello neighbors!
I’m Haley Robinson, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Lemhi County Humane Society. I’m honored to step into this role to support the incredible work this organization has been doing for decades, while also bringing some new ideas into the mix.
My background is in marketing, communications, nonprofit program management, fundraising, and community engagement. I’m looking forward to using these skills to help expand our outreach, support our hardworking staff and volunteers, and ensure every animal in our care gets the second chance they deserve.
On a personal level, I’m a lifelong animal lover with a bad habit of introducing myself to dogs and cats before people (apologies in advance). I share my home with my partner Derek, two dogs, two cats adopted from LCHS, and one foster pup who’s looking for her forever home.
It’s truly an honor to join this team dedicated to the welfare of animals. I can’t wait to meet more of you (and your pets!) in the coming weeks — whether at an upcoming event like Barn Cat Boogie at Highlander next Thursday, at the shelter, Rags & Wags, or out in the community.

Clothing & Shoe Donation Paused Until Nov 1

We’re full! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have more clothing and shoes than we can sort right now. We’re pausing donations of these items until November 1 so we can get caught up. Thank you for your support and understanding!
Holiday Break for In-Store Adoptable Cats

Our in-store adoptable cats will be at Rags until the week before Thanksgiving. We’ll then take a short break for the holidays and bring them back after the New Year. In the meantime, you can still meet all of our sweet cats up at the shelter!
